Luke Bryan To Headline “CMT ON TOUR” This Fall

CMT ON TOUR launched in 2002 and has featured superstars Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Keith Urban. Singer-songwriter Luke Bryan is scheduled to release his third studio album on Capitol Records Nashville, Tailgates & Tanlines, August 9, which includes his new smash co-penned hit “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).” Following his 2010 award-winning year, Bryan was recently nominated for two 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS: BEST WEB VIDEO OF THE YEAR for his video “It’s A Shore Thing” and NATIONWIDE INSURANCE’S BEST NEW LIVE ACT. He is scheduled to perform his first main-stage performance at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS and will also present on the show. Bryan has toured with Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and most recently Tim McGraw. While Bryan has made a name for himself on the road, he has also established a name as a hit songwriter with three back-to-back co-written #1 singles, “Do I,” “Rain Is A Good Thing,” and “Someone Else Calling You Baby.”
