Toby Keith Lines Up More Interstates For 2017

Tour Opened May 27 In His Native Oklahoma, Rolls Through October

NASHVILLE, Tenn. May 31, 2017 – Because filling venues nationwide in 2016 wasn’t enough, the Toby Keith Interstates & Tailgates Tour Presented by Ford F-Series is back for a full course of music-fueled partying in 2017. With a sold out opening over the weekend at Oklahoma’s Choctaw Casino Resort, the tour will continue to showcase Toby Keith in all his singing, songwriting and entertaining glory.

With 27 more dates on the books through summer and more to be announced soon, the tour also heralds upcoming new music – Keith’s first since 2015’s critically acclaimed 35 MPH Town. Next, Toby will stay in his native Oklahoma to attend to the important matter of his 14th Annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic June 2-3 at Belmar Golf Club and Riverwind Casino in Norman, Oklahoma.

The new tour – and new music – follow a busy 2016, which included major media appearances and performances like the 10th Annual ACM Honors on CBS. That performance honored his friend Glen Campbell, while Keith’s performance on the American Country Countdown Awards honored his hero, the late Merle Haggard. Meanwhile, the original Harrah’s Las Vegas location of Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill celebrated its 10th anniversary with a multimillion dollar renovation and grand reopening party, which Keith attended.

Most recently, Keith performed at Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard April 6 in Nashville, and at Carnegie Hall for The Cake And The Rain: A Celebration Of The Music Of Jimmy Webb May 5 in New York City.
