Stoney Creek Records and Ash Bowers Want To Give Your Homegrown Hero Five Thousand Dollars

Download “I Still Believe In That” for Free During Upcoming 2011 CMA Music Festival

Nashville, TN (May 31, 2011)–Stoney Creek Records, along with Ash Bowers, present a “Homegrown Hero” contest to recognize and reward a local hero who has significantly impacted a community. The online contest will start May 30 and will end on July 1 on Facebook.com/AshBowers.

The contest was inspired by the lyrics found in Bower’s new single, “I Still Believe In That,” (Our heroes and our idols were homegrown/ Didn't find them on no TV show/They were our teachers and our preachers/ Our soldier’s, moms and dads / I still believe in that.) To enter, fans will need to nominate their local hero by submitting a short essay (150 words or less) explaining what makes them a homegrown hero. They can do this on Ash Bower's Facebook page. The prize winning-hero will receive a $5,000 cash prize. *


“I Still Believe In That” is quickly becoming a recognizable anthem that reminds all of us about American values.
