Steel Magnolia To Sign Copies of Debut Album at Opry Originals Store Jan. 18th

January 14, 2011 - Country Sensations Steel Magnolia will sign copies of its self-titled debut album at the Opry Originals store on Tuesday, January 18th from 6:15-7:15 pm in Nashville before the act’s appearance on the Tuesday Night Opry.  
 
The Big Machine Records duo, whom the Associated Press has called, "one of the most exciting new country acts to come along in the last couple years," will perform at the historic Ryman Auditorium for a very special ACM Showcase at the Opry, hosted by reigning ACM Top New Artist, Luke Bryan.    


Steel Magnolia is a 2011 Academy of Country Music Award Nominee for “Top New Duo or Group.”  The concert special will air on the Great American Country channel on January 27th, 10 pm ET, the same day fan-voting begins at www.voteacm.com
 
Steel Magnolia (Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones) released its debut album on January 11th and the long-anticipated project shot to #1 on the iTunes Country Album Chart only 12 hours upon its release.  
 
Steel Magnolia celebrated street week with an album release show at New York City's famed Bowery Ballroom, which landed a live concert photo of the duo on the front page of The New York Times'"The Arts" Section this week, along with profiles in USA Today, Ladies Home Journal (.com), Country Weekly, Huffington Post, FOX News Channel and many more.
