Carrie Underwood Headlines “Time 100” Gala

Nashville – April 30, 2014 – Six-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood received a standing ovation during her headline performance at the TIME 100 Gala held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City last night. The event honored present and past recipients of the 100 most influential people in the world. Some of this year’s honorees in attendance were Amy Adams, Alfonso Cuaron, Megyn Kelly (who introduced Carrie’s performance), Seth Meyers, Rupert Murdoch, Rand Paul, Charlie Rose, Christy Turlington, Pharrell Williams (who also performed), and more.

Carrie was also honored as one of this years’ TIME 100 in addition to Hillary Clinton, Jeff Bezos, Beyonce, Pope Francis, Robert Redford, Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe, President Barack Obama and many more.
